How to Prepare For Clear and Brilliant Laser Treatment

Before Treatment
Before your treatment, you’ll receive a complimentary consultation with a BodyLase team member to discuss any questions you have about Clear and Brilliant. We’ll also review your medical history, current medications, primary skin concerns, and aesthetic goals to ensure your treatment package is personalized to your needs.
During the Treatment
During the session, your BodyLase provider will cleanse your skin and apply a topical numbing cream. Your provider will then pass the Clear and Brilliant handpiece over the treatment area in the required number of passes for optimal results.
A typical Clear and Brilliant laser treatment takes about 30 minutes, but may vary depending on the size of the treatment area and your specific skin needs.

Clear and Brilliant Laser Results
Most clients begin to see visible improvements in skin tone, texture, and overall appearance within just a few days of treatment.
While clients typically see results after just one session, four to six treatment sessions are usually recommended for optimal, long-lasting results.
Side Effects after Treatment
Treatment day: Immediately after your treatment, your skin may feel warm – similar to a mild sunburn – and appear red. This typically subsides within two to three hours.
Days 1-3: You may experience mild flaking, dryness, or irritation as your skin begins to heal. It is common for your skin to be sensitive during this stage.
Weeks 1-2: You may notice a bronzed appearance and small brown dots on the skin as pigmentation rises to the surface.
Weeks 2 and beyond: You will notice visible results, including improvements in tone and texture, reduction in fine lines and wrinkles, and a brighter, more even complexion.
Post-Treatment Care
Your provider will share specific aftercare instructions, but in general we recommend the following guidelines to protect your skin and maximize your Clear and Brilliant laser results:
You may apply mineral makeup immediately after treatment to help minimize redness
- Avoid picking or scratching your skin; allow any peeling or flaking to occur naturally
- Apply sunscreen with SPF 30 or higher on a daily basis
- Protect the treated area from over-exposure to sun until your skin is fully healed
- Avoid any irritating skincare products, such as exfoliants or retinoids, until your skin has fully recovered; use only gentle, non-comedogenic skincare products
