You can typically expect 1-3 days of redness and swelling. Days 4-7, you may notice your skin darkening in color and beginning to peel. In week 2, your skin will continue to improve, and your results will become more visible.

Plan for 3-7 days of redness and swelling, followed by a week of peeling and flaking as your skin renews. With proper aftercare, most clients feel comfortable returning to work within 5-7 days. Your provider will walk you through a complete protocol at your appointment.

Some clients report mild to moderate discomfort, noting the sensation can feel warm or prickly. To ensure your comfort, BodyLase applies a topical numbing cream before treatment and offers ProNox (nitrous oxide) for additional relief if needed.
