Exfoliate and Renew with a Chemical Peel
“Out with the old and in with the new” is the perfect analogy for chemical peels. These treatments work by exfoliating your skin and allowing new, more beautiful skin to grow in its place. The formulas used to achieve these results are customized by our BodyLase® professionals.
The process starts with a personal skincare assessment. At BodyLase®, we don’t like to “dive into” anything. We believe that each person’s skincare needs are unique and require personalized attention. Once we’ve got an idea of what your skin needs are, we will begin by cleaning and preparing it for a chemical peel.
The peel is applied using gentle motions evenly over the face. Once applied, the peel is left for 1-10 minutes and then neutralized. Proper after-care products are applied to treated areas and at-home instructions are reviewed. These peels take only 30 minutes and serve as the standard for renewal and rejuvenation.
Hydrate with a HydraFacial®
A HydraFacial® can be a great alternative If chemical peels aren’t to your liking. These facial treatments involve a patented device that cleanses, exfoliates, and extracts dead skin cells. As your skin is being cleansed, it is simultaneously bathed in serums packed with rich hydrating ingredients, antioxidants, and peptides.
The main difference between chemical peels and HydraFacial® treatments is the use of acids. Chemical peels damage the superficial layer of your skin. This is done through intense acid solutions like citric, glycolic, and lactic acid. The HydraFacial® uses milder acid solutions to simply remove dirt and debris from your pores.
Your skin is refreshed once your pores are cleansed. Afterward, applying skincare products becomes much more beneficial. So, if you don’t want a full refresher, a HydraFacial® may be a better option, especially when combined with our amazing skincare line.
